Silent pain

Silent pain

A Poem by I-smile
"

Love of what he won't speak.

"
Blinded by love, a serenade he sings.
Silently in his heart, the deep seas above.
A love he has, for a girl.
Forbidden for some, an uncontrollable mess.

If he were, to spend his last night,
dead he'll be, as an angel beyond looking after her.

But no, life is harsh.
His love fell apart, a tainted blue rose,
a broken bow,
all in a silentious rush.

Stranded alone his soul is,
forcing a fake laugh for the girl whom he miss
Buried in his memory,
dear god, please end his suffering,
it would be a blessing.

Icy splinters stroke at his heart,
blood dried on its tips,
the pain just won't part.

Violent pitch-less screams echo is his room.
Nervous breakdowns, withdrawn in a cocoon.
Driven to bitter sweet insanity,
let the seasons pass,
away from this drugged reality.

The last line is a hard hitting punch. This poem is full of angst and sadness brought on by a lost love. Loosing the one you love in this life can be harsh and unrelenting. This poem sums all that up.

Beautiful and so very sad. This entire poem drips of endless pain, the suffering one feels when they continue on without their heart song. The first and fourth stanza spoke in volumes to me. In so many ways I could relate to the words. It was as if he lacked the voice to speak, to claim his love, living within a continuous silent agony. This broke my heart as much as I loved it. Amazing...

Inside this character holds a love so strong that even after death he will continue to watch over her and love her. I wondered, why is this love forbidden? and I wondered how did his love fall apart. It seemed his love was a secret, so I wonder if something happened to the one he loves? Many questions I have but I do see the strong sense of love in this poem, the yearning to be seen by this woman and accepted.
