Pink Ribbons

just thought of this, so I wrote it all down. pretty self explanitory I guess...

Pink Ribbons

 

Buy a ribbon,

Wear a bracelet,

Donate a dollar,

They’ll surely take it.

 

Take a walk,

And raise some money,

Because every child,

Wants a healthy mommy.

 

Finding a cure,

Years in the making,

But every day,

A life it’s taking.

 

We’re one step closer,

With every dollar,

So let’s help end,

This war against cancer.

In memory of anyone you know who beat cancer, has cancer, or has lost their fight. Not just from breast cancer either....

This is a beautiful poem with a wonderful message. Cancer is one of the many things bogging down our society and every day we get closer to a cure. This is verse at its best. Especially the part about children having moms.
