A poem about steryotypes... we had to write them ffor english.. apparently there's a tryp of poem called a "just beacuse" poem...

Just Because

 

Just because I’m blonde

     Doesn’t mean I’m stupid

     Doesn’t mean I’m self-centered

     Doesn’t mean I’m popular

 

Just because I’m blonde

     I’m not obsessed with plastic surgery

     I don’t wear tons of makeup

     I don’t go to tanning salons

 

Just because I’m blonde

     I’m not a cheerleader

     I don’t think I’m better than you

     I’m not spoiled

 

Just because I’m blonde - get to know me.

I find this very amusing, but nothing against you :D. I tease my friend for being a "blonde brunetter," but i dont mean anything by it. Just because you're blond doesn't mean your anymore different from anyone else, it's just a hair color. Good write.

I really like this one, it's a very valid point when it comes to stereotyping people based on their appearances. The only error would be that because is misspelled in the title of the poem. Otherwise, another good job.

hahaha ya.. this was almost a hard poem to write. not like emotionally, but i couldnt think of enough things! my friend had it easy, she wrote "just because I'm Asian" and my other friend wrote "just because I'm mexican" but all i could think to do was blonde....
