HateA Poem by Rosalyn MarieSo this was an assignment for english last year where we had to write about an emotion or weather. I figured people would do nice things like "happiness" so I chose hate to be different.Hate Hate is a raging inferno in your soul, waiting to be unleashed, so it can demolish everything in its path. Hate hurts like a wasp sting, and though the stinger is gone, there still remains a scar, but this one is left on the heart. It lies in wait like an animal waiting to attack, ready to release its fury at any minute. Hate is like a cinnamon candy. It begins out subtle, but grows stronger with time. Hate is a friendship that will never happen, or one long forgotten. Hate is as black as the and just as cold and empty. For all the terrible things hate causes, it is almost unforgivable. Almost. © 2010 Rosalyn MarieAuthor's Note
