Seven Dwarves for dinner

Seven Dwarves for dinner

A Chapter by Ray Nichols

Snow White her skin was
and her eyes of brightest blue
The mirror tells no lies
She was the fairest that is true.

Jealous was her mother
The monstrous evil queen
She told the guard
Take her from here
And do an awful thing.

But the guard was not as heartless
He let her run away.
And she would still be living
If not for that fateful day.

She ran into the woods you see.
Until her legs could run no more.
And she came upon a cottage
and knocked upon the door.

The door was locked and bolted
and no one was at home.
She sat down on a bench nearby
she was too tired to roam.

Soon she was asleep
and then the sun went down.
and the creatures of the night
began to roam around.

A pale skinned vampire found her
and turned her from the light
And Snow White became more pale
Than the moon in the sky.

Seven dwarves returned to home
to find to their surprise
A lovely pale skinned girl
who compelled them
let her inside.

Seven dwarves for dinner
And turned as well that day.
in time, the Queen would rue the day
She threw her life away.

Seven dwarves for dinner
And soon the Queen would die.
As the fairest of her daughters
would be invited inside.

A cute variation. Prosody's a bit off, but still, I liked it.
