Halloween

Walk out of my house,

Dressed in a silky black dress,

Makeup making my skin look diffrent,

I felt as if I am this creature,

As if I had power,

I run around through the darkness of the night,

Candy everywhere,

Soon enough the dream had ended,

I got changed,

Flashing myself back to reality,

I was a girl with no power,

I was not a creature,

Nor was my skin flawless,

I am like everyone else now,

It is time to stop pertending,

Reality always will catch up with us,

We are who we are.
