The last time I saw you I told you I’ll be away for a couple days,

I told you I was going on a trip,

I told you it will pay,

On the trip I may have slip.

 

I wish I didn’t try,

I lost how feel away from time,

Until I saw the way you cry,

I felt like you wouldn’t leave for a dime.

 

When you heard I was almost dead,

I only heard you whine,

I knew you felt miss lead,

You begged me to stay and that was the last line.
