My Heart

My poem for you Shawn. Thank God I left him for you.

My heart so small and fragile, has always been kept safe

But now it longs to travel, from it's dreaded case

You never tried to take it, so I gave it all away

To the man who will not break it, and send my love away

I took the chance with you, and I'm glad to where I've come

To forever hold your hand in the time that is to come
