Noah's Got the Blues

Noah’s Got the Muse

Now I don’t mean to be singing the blues,
It’s just what I’ve seen on my internet peruse.
Tsunamis and quakes, with a volcanic ruse
explosive reporting of paying our dues
Armageddon half bakes bark new world views
emotion contorting for any excuse

Pay to the piper and pray in your pews
Beware of the viper, don’t walk in his shoes
It’s all in the numbers and world revenues
Paying up body counts giving you clues
Lottery tumblers set to confuse
Laying up fantasy, easy to amuse

Celebrity embedded disaster infuse
Watch where we’re headed on the six o’clock news
WE die by The millions in war we accuse
Man made starvation they tighten the screws
Disease and slavery billions we loose
Follow one nation to see who is who’s

Nuclear explosion or drugs and booze
Moral erosion our faith we misuse
Law of the Land birthright we abuse
Feud legacy will not cease we reuse
The same old dog fight that has led us to choose
War over peace with a nuclear fuse.

Noah he’s taking us in two by two’s
A place for the making as our world renews.
