Poet's Perspective

Poet's Perspective

A Poem by ravincause
"

Poets have a special place in the world, the muse is their duty...

"
When the poet digs into another dimension
Gleaning perspectives long held in suspension
A river of knowledge begins its ascension
Bearing sagacity in vast comprehension.
Light years of knowing can get lost in pretension
As wisdom and fancy struggle with dissension.
Wordy or whimsy with misapprehension,
Will they or won’t they win honorable mention?
The poet clams up with creative contention
Suffering the overload of brain seized extension.
Release and revive, take a mental detention,
Finding the rhythm is the best prevention.
Look for the love you neglected to mention
And write all the wrongs into dynamic tension.

This poem needs more attention
For it's awesomeness mention
The writer felt the suspension
I'm running out of rhymes of shin

Anyway, this is pretty cool. I like your rhyming shin's throughout.
