Night People

Night People

A Poem by ravincause

It is the night people who know
Where to find late night places
It’s night wanderers who show
The way to weave new spaces
Unseen by the light of the day
They show only in dark
Down the forgotten alleyway
And in the greenlands park
They cannot be identified
For in shadow they stay
Some dress up all gentrified
In a cast off tattered way
Some keep company with their ghosts
And they have a lot to say
Though their story is told the most
With the living they do not play
And some are wise with knowledge won
Through life's fire forged
And these are they, who's trust once won
Will never go astray
The night holds wizards and sisters weird
Who do not trust the view
And hold in contempt a long held feud
‘gainst Daytime folks like you.

I am a dreamer dreaming life wonders to create dancing to the melodies the heavens orchestrate. Well, I just am. Present. Now. Am. I enjoy life this way. It's a fun place to be, living here on .. more..
