Sail On

Sail On

A Poem by ravincause

Strip down life’s illusions
delusions of an impossible grandeur
Faith staked
in stocks and bonds to a future
we are facing head on
Armageddon
chokes the skyways
with eternal highways
going nowhere.

Find the core
left behind in the rubble of Eden’s fall
Not all
was lost.

We exist.
An eclectic ecosystem
of self discovery
discovering god
within.

Here we begin
again.

In dreams we are led
snake fed
from the depths of the earth.
Self worth examined by the light of the moonscape
there is no escape from
the fate we make
for ourselves.

New moon rise
Prophesize
our way home.
We are not alone
in our undertaking.
Collective Gods
we are making
our own world.
Souls unfurled
we tame the winds of ancient sorrow
and sail into a bright tomorrow.

About
I am a dreamer dreaming life wonders to create dancing to the melodies the heavens orchestrate. Well, I just am. Present. Now. Am. I enjoy life this way. It's a fun place to be, living here on .. more..
