Haiku passing through four seasons

Snow laden branches
cold thin bitten limbs outstretched
Bracing against frost

First warmth and sap flows
Second breath the shoots caress
The open white flowers

Height of the sun king
Packet bee loads and unloads
The pollen letters

Fall in the leaf time
Red orb fruit swelling in pride
Casting new life round

I really like this chain. It shows a lot of depth, and really explores the season. It is one of the better ones I have seen here. I did notice a slight error in number three however. Line three has six syllables instead of five which technically puts it over. The rest of the components are very solid, and that line is still solid, but I think it needs a slight change. If you can fix that line by tomorrow I would say that you have a really good chance of placing high in my Haiku contest. Very nicely done.
