Forged Metal Dream RollA Poem by RavenskaldALL THAT WE SEE OR SEEM IS BUT A DREAM WITHIN A DREAM (Quote) a poem in 6/8 cascade and then freeform. and then I came back and rewrote it ! and then rewrote it from scratch !All that
Is written words falling
sculpted to the page thoughts recalled
such little time
To break the gentle blue passion
Twilight ridden begotten starred
In night
We seem
apart and together
stroking your hair crestfallen
in moonlight
Sliding from shoulder to backbone
Across many journeys I've taken
To heart
The hour sounding
The drum roll of early hours
Ring on ring
Echoing the motion emotion forged
Deep between sheets silent chords
Harp played
Just a breath away
Echoing softly in unison
Twisted metal
Molded back in the flame desire
Where muscle and mind require
Delight
This shade feathered nest
arms stretch and redress the days pain
Be reborn
Into all we knew and wanted
Refuge from the storms of blue
Frozen
In untempered time
both yours and mine twisted bound
complete whole
United song echoing bright
Scattering ghosts to fly south
