whisper

whisper

A Poem by linda m. crate
"

A perspective of a woman losing her child before it was born.

"
you crawled out of my body
like you did into it
with a whisper,
and now i know i'll never
be the same
without your tiny hand
holding onto
my heart
because your father never loved me
and because i never knew your
heartbeat or listened
to your dreams
i would have loved you forever.
