impossible dreamA Poem by linda m. crateAnother love poem. These seem to be something of a frequency as of late.we dream different dreams same thoughts yet our lips seem oceans apart i wish that i could summon them upon my request, but that isn't reasonable nor logical you'd laugh at my folly, im sure; but why shouldn't i dream the impossible? even the word itself declares 'i'm possible' as miss hepburn so eloquently said, and so i will not give up on us even if we're an impossible dream stained glass windows sometimes shatter but they can be put back together again; and so can we " so i'm putting away these lamentations dragging out my prayers to burst through all the bottles of vodka my eyes have been eying in the shelves of walmart i'd rather be kissed with sobriety when i open my eyes again, especially if it means the truth of being again with you. - linda m. crate
