thoughtless

thoughtless

A Poem by ...

the thoughts drip from my fingertips
until all the hurt and all the despair
bleed across my pages
his image etched in every word
his whispers rustling the the parchment
until the crimson tides of my emotion
wash away his presence

this haunted mind is spinning
i hear him when i scream
and the pages and the words
ripped to pieces on the floor
like the pieces of who i used to be
swept under the edges of my life
hidden from his sight
until the smallest breeze picks up a shard
and carries my past to his door
where i crumble and quiver
knowing ive lost again

the words are lost
i have searched
but my silence is all i can give him
no excuses no apologies
i am naked and vulnerable
without the right things to say
and all he does
is shred the rest of the world
to pieces
and slowly walk away

and now the pieces become each other
i am lost amongst the carnage
inches from my thoughts
lay the words i long to grasp
and a moment before i reach them
i drown in the crimson tides
thoughtless
i wallow in all that was never spoken

Sounds like you linger in the wallowing, nevertheless this is great redemption if the lessons are learned. The masculine principle is ultimately responsible for tearing down the old structures which may no longer serve. The feminine is reluctantly dragged into our vortex because she desires the wanting, she craves to be kept by such a force. And the beat goes on. Nice transparency...with risks, failure and triumph waiting on the razor's edge. Shiva/Shakti was here. keep it up!
