Timeless

Timeless

A Poem by ...

We have all the time in the world
But its running out
It's easier to believe that we are immortal
But we bleed and we hurt and we die
No amount of time can save us
If we do not hurry our recovery
Time festers as we waste it
Waiting for a miracle
That suddenly we will be healed
Because time deemed it fit
Whilst time putrifies
Stagnant wounds become septic
For time is not a cure
It is a liar and a thief
Taking from us what we need most
Making us believe it is fated
