A Lover's LullabyA Poem by Raven Pegasus
Sing me to sleep,
Your voice is so sweet. Let me drift with a Melody belonging to me. Don't sing a lullaby, But a song of days gone by. Sing a song of sadness, Touched by gladness. Sing to me of love lost, And of what it cost. Sing to me of love found, It holds not bound. -Raven 16, December 1995 © 2011 Raven Pegasus |
