Dance Around The Flames

To dance within the flames,

A Beltaine ritual we do share...

Reborn to live once again

To dance within Her realm...

To live within the Sacred light

Of Mother's great Love for life

We celebrate the coming together

The God and Goddess once again,

To give a never ending second chance

Of life's ever adventurous quest.

To dance with the flames

On this Beltaine Feast,

We live to love and love again...

We live to carry out this never ending cycle.

We dance this night, by Her loving light

To become as They, the Olde Ones

Time and time again...

I enjoyed this writing since before I read it! Not a lot of people write along the pagan subject anymore, and having the background in paganism that I do, I enjoyed it very much. I appreciate the way you are able to project personal conviction in a light, but effective, way.

This is something that's far from me, being as it's both a religious and formal piece, but I can really appreciate the artistic validity here. The title is what grabbed me, and I wasn't let down. Some very nice images, and well-rounded sentiment. It's not my bag of tea, but it's good and I can appreciate it for what it is.
