As Yet Ariana's Dream

As Yet Ariana's Dream

A Poem by Raven Pegasus

I look to the starry sky, waiting for you.
Are you there, beyond the place I cannot see?
A soft prayer you send to me on the wind,
I feel it on my skin with the breeze.
A timeless relation, never severed,
Always my salvation.
No moon could hide what is shared between us.
No sun to blind this dream of going toward each other.
When the moon slowly lowers, you will be there,
My heart, my soul.
I will wait for you,
For none can stop what destiny has decreed.

Reading this poem, one is filled with a sense of sadness of a lover taken away before their time. Expressed through a thoughtful and gentle flow in the writing. Tugging at the heart's strings with it's tenderness. Thank you for sharing this tender poem with us.
