You beckon so
Though you may not know
I am drawn
Outside
I hear the song of the night
The sigh of the moon
I’ve never heard before
You
The hush of the brook
Revived
From recent rains
Just down the path
Where I would walk with you
Whispers your name
Now
My soul wants to tell the world
About you
Are not here
I cannot hold you close to me
But I feel you
Within me
This moon
These stars
Of mine
They are the same for you
So you see
My love
We are together
When you beckon so…

Very nice work. 'beckon' is somehwat of a little used word, but it's been inserted perfectly here. Really like the easy flow.

I think that when you l ove someone, you want to share everything you see and feel - ' hear the song of the night
The sigh of the moon / I've never heard before / You / The hush of the brook / Revived / From recent rains'.

Wanting to share bec omes the most extraordinary part of living, that person'a vital to your heart, to your being, then, becomes that essential ingredient of seeing and feeling outside yourself.

You've used wonderful phrases, conjured up fantastic pictures, it flows smoothly and, is - beautiful..

An interesting view of how love opens us up to the beauty of the world around us. I have to say, that I have always and will always prefer those works that discuss love found in the night or contemplated in the night. It is amazing what love opens us up to, and I can close my eyes - hearing the song of the night...
