TrespassingA Poem by C.L. WilsonThis was written for the Challenge 3 of the De Gustibus Non Est Disputandum group. So I had to use three words and they were elan, sanctum, and sibylline.
This sanctum
Is so calm
Peaceful
And alone
So many books
Fill the shelves
And line the walls
I’ve never seen such an elegant library
It isn’t mine
I’m only a trespasser
I could not have
Made something so élan
I just stumbled upon a door
That seemed so
Sibylline
And had to see what it was it hid
I wonder who left it behind.
