Just Two of Me

Just Two of Me

A Poem by C.L. Wilson

I am nothing

to fear

I am only me

Two of me to be exact

There is the comedian

and there is the thinker

I am both

I crave the laughter

of others

like a chilling wind

on a summer noon

I stay deep in thought

of the big picture

hoping for ideas

and inspiration

I am both

Not schizophrenic

Just two souls

melded to one
