Jolly Man

Jolly Man

The jolly man kicks open the door with a BOOM!
As ho ho ho’s tumble into the room.
The silly dressed tinies scatter out of his way
As he dances his jig letting his frothy beard sway.
“To the left to right,
Ho ho ho smile bright!
For all our hard work will bring much joy tonight!”

The elves nod agreements and join in his dance
While toy soldiers crawl and dolls wet their pants
“How silly these dolls!” Santa shouts with surprise
And the elves laugh so hard it brings tears to their eyes
Rosy cheeks hide his blushing as he stiffens and scowls
And the elves stop their laughing save one who still howls

They all turn their heads to see who it could be...
Why it’s Gidget the Loon! An elf from line three
Santa lets slip a howl of his own
Infectious his laughter and warm is its tone
The elves they all giggle heading back their places
Hammering on things and tying up laces

And so goes the night till the Misses Gives call
Prompting Santa to fly and fulfill his great cause
On Dasher and Dancer on Prancer and Vixen
On Comet on Cupid on Donder and Blitzen
He’s dashing away to deliver his toys
To all the good girls and good little boys

So if you’re lying in bed on any given Christmas Eve
And you hear a warm laughter burst out with a heave
Then you already know what you’ll find under the tree...
Why what else but a doll who in her pants has just peed!

Funny one. Thank you for entering this piece to A Christmas Poetic Story.
I can see that even Santa is not perfect. Hahaha!!! At least, he laughed at the mistakes he and his elves did. :D
Good luck!
