The world today

The world today

A Poem by rastadudette

Life today? Okay lets see..... what to say.

What once was green now is black, with cocrete edges and a metalic grey.

The grass they cover the tree's they hack, they shun the light to suffer in the dark.

They prefer the radio, to the song of the Lark, if only they could see.

The humans expand in body and land. cut down the forests so the animals cannot flee.

They spit out fumes that constrict the senses, oh wait a miute is that just me?

The funny thing is its just pretty words! I dont care im afraid, i mean AT ALL! Let the damn kids deal with it..... most of the kids these day are gonna deserve it in the end anyway. I dont hate my mum for killin the earth. Were all just a germ on earth..... A disease. It actually annoys me when my mum recycles cos things arent in the bin!!! I dont care.
