Love Transit

Love Transit

A Poem by Rasha Lama
"

most of my love poems have something to do with distance (reflection of what was going on in my mind at that time)

"
I am sad endlessly
Everyday for no reason.
But when I see your face
And the way your body flows with my thoughts
All my sadness is replaced with flowers
I love it when I look at you
It's like my mind is filled with you
And only you
The thing is,
I'm moving to another planet
I won't be able to see your smiling eyes
The rapid movement of your anxious leg
Which you excuse as nothing
Even though it shakes the core of my body
And I fall towards you.
I want to see the freckles and crinkles
Of your nose when you laugh
With your favourite song
(which happens to be mine too)
Blasting in the background
Just the way you like it.
