Spool of ThoughtsA Poem by Rasha LamaIn a split second my mind knew how it began. As soon as I understood myself, I forgot it all.
My mind is a mess,
a jumble of strings. Memories, conversations, ideas decorated in threads and colours. Bound tight around my skull, through crevices and cracks. All begging to fall out, pull one string and unravel. Streams of life and soul in blankets coax my world. My life only a reflection of my mess, my threads, my strings. © 2015 Rasha Lama |
