Glorious RevolutionA Poem by RapterjAnd what is a revolution, if it is not a rebellion of love?Take your breath.
Leave it at the door.
We are here for our reasons. We are here because we must be.
Breath is a just reason for living. But what is a life with no reason.
This is not reason. This is not madness. This is and we are, We are who we believe we are.
Strung like a solitary note Hung like a dummy at a noose
No simple reform will befall us. We have come with purpose. We come with pride.
We come to change this world. We come to revolt.
Take your breath
Leave it at the door.
Where we go tonight, We won't need it.
One last passion One last love One final moment, Before our judgement.
This our moment. Take this breath now. Before it is taken for you.
To change To passion To everything we stand for.
This is not a youth rebellion This is passion. This is the end of all things.
For what is freedom, If we aren't free to tell?
And what is belief, If we are told what to believe?
So to what we make, In the last breaths we take,
Arms wrapped around Like a cycle to this pollution.
After our love, We march, We bleed, We die,
For this,
This, glorious revolution. © 2010 RapterjFeatured Review
