Contents of a Spent WrathA Poem by RapterjAnd the empty vase of anguish. What would such wrath contain? That we would be stripped our pain.
Our dignity, Our pride, And the sacrifice we make.
Its a blade of the purest origins With evil at its heart.
A baneslayer of all that is good and righteous Born with best intent.
What would such wrath contain? If it were unleashed at will,
Relinquished, Abandoned, Abolished, Dismissed.
Like the forgotten blade.
Vines, entangling and burning Burning with rust
Like a vice spent with rage In its hearth lies distortion
Destruction, Pain, And an end.
What would such wrath contain? © 2010 Rapterj |
