Waiting Game

Waiting Game

A Poem by JayannaMarie

Everything will be okay
Pop a Xanax, go to sleep

Everything will be okay
little bad things that help us be.

In the morning, the sun will rise
You'll be okay, you'll open your eyes

This takes time
That takes time

Pack a bowl and take a hit
little bad things that help us survive

Everything will be okay
The waiting game is tough to play.

I can totally relate. What a touching poem. So real and honest down to the very core.
