Rage Against the Mind

Rage Against the Mind

A Poem by Rante_Anglin

I’ll wear you like a stitch, nothing less but so much more.

I’ll hold you close like an addict with a drug, curled up on the floor.

Pull out my hair, back stab, guage out my eyes, i’d leave you but then come back, f**k these emotional ties.

I say i shouldnt be worried when other guys talk to my girl.

but i am cause i know she could have any other guy in this world.

I say the talk is a good thing, it means she is desirable.

but to what extent are other guys capable.

what are they willing to do for something they think they require.

cut the chit chat and just take what they want, what they desire.

They say “it wont happen” or “I’ll be fine, dont worry”

But it happens everywhere all the time, its a possibilty.

So lets reduce the odds as much as we can.

by dressing right and sticking by your man.

They say the way we dress shouldnt be a cause..

they are right!

But it is! so deal with it, this world has its flaws.

I hold invisible you ,when your out, in my arms.

Silly i know but my heart slighty calms.

I hate that i am i love, i freak out at the smallest of thoughts.

Countless battles between my mind and myself, many destroyed forts.

I’ll try and be better and ignore your absence.

but my mind hammers..in my head there is no defence..
