I am a floorboard that creaks

I am a floorboard that creaks

A Poem by rannon96
"

I genuinely don't even have one anymore.

"

I am a floorboard that creaks,

I am the unmixed cement

and the carpet that leaks

I am money that was lent.

I don’t hold ceiling beams

because my arms they tire.

as pointless are my dreams

as the paper in the fire.

A camel without a spine

still a load on its back,

but I need to appear fine

even though I’m gonna crack.

A lifeboat with a leak

and a message unsent.

I’m just feeling weak

and I don’t know where I went.
