Pretence

You said you know my heart
my tears and fears
you adore the way
I smile at every misery

You said you will put me first
In light and dark
You won't hurt
Because I looked beautiful when happy.

And You said you will be there
But all I see is demons
You say Its all in my head
Well! I wish that too.

So I asked for love

The title, does it say it all? I like the last stanza, questions are so powerful as is love, so when you put them together without an answer it feels like being run over with words. Nicely penned. tyfs
