Your Silence

Your Silence

A Poem by Stephan E. Weller
"

Its about love and the silence of one

"

Your Silence

I sit her wondering how you are

Because for my heart you are the star

Miles separate us and it hurts

I can only seem to talk to you in spurts

I feel that this distance is killing what we have

Or can be that on me you have chosen to pass

I don’t know but I can’t think I can’t sleep

And for you I long and weep

What Have I done but give you my heart

Although I have been terrified from the start

I knew this was going to happen in one way or another

And now I have become a bother

Why is it I do these things

I wish I had those wings

Just to fly away to be with you

Or to my death which is long over due

The silence is deafening to my ears

And cause the Niagara of my tears

I cry to sleep

I cry to speak

I cry to hear your voice

But it seems to be not your choice

This feels like my last chance

To feel good about the dance

Author's Note

Stephan E. Weller
it is written a little erratic which is the way it was meant to express the turmoil and thoughts of not knowing and erratic thinking when there is no communication between two people
