as you sleep I watch

as you sleep I watch

A Poem by Stephan E. Weller
"

I used to watch my girlfriend sleep and these are som thoughts going through my mid as I did

"

The whisper of your breath

The rising and falling of your chest

The gently caressing hair of your head

And the succulent lips from where words are said

The warmth of your velvet skin

Your gentle touch so soft it’s a sin

The curling of your smile

Is all I hope for all the while

The sapphire in your eyes

More brilliant than blues of sky

Your skin milky smooth

My raging beast you sooth

Your passion so true

Brings out the best in you

The shade of your love is gold

For you great love stories have been told

I watch you sleep

And with tears of joy I weep

And feel your passion

Rising to your heated crescendo leaves me weak and ashen

You are the epitome of seduction and love

It flies on wings of doves

Completely unbridled

No woman could ever rival
