Lost In A Daydream

Lost In A Daydream

A Poem by Audrey Bowers

How I walk and
the way I talk
it's kind of funny
like the ticking of a clock

What I dream and
the things I perceive
are they real?
or are they not?

A walk in the morning
or a jog in the day
do not interest me
for my minds always astray

While thinking about sad
but yet beautiful things
I'm no longer a part of reality
but I'm lost in a daydream.
