StormA Poem by HiroA storm within that leaks out to wreck havoc outside.Sometimes It boils the sky A dark raven color Giving its grim warnings Inch by inch
Sometimes It comes out of the blue (If I may insert a pun) A moment: Not a cloud in the sky Then next: Torrents knocking down branches
The air always smells the same: That stuffy smell of fresh anger and turmoil Erupting like a volcano Hissing as it hits hot gravel
You take it, You take it and you wait For the storm to calm Waiting for the sun to peek Between the clouds Smiling, shining, Full of bright light and laughter
You take The daggers falling from the sky The wind that rocks you around the block Dodge branches and trash bins swirling in the air
You take it, You take it and you wait For the storm to calm Because you know that I am as trapped inside As you are outside In the storm © 2013 HiroFeatured Review
