MONA

MONA

A Poem by rama raju k

 rain splashed her beautiful face,
very beautiful one yet very pale;
a women trying to keep her pace,
running down lonely in the gale;
                                                    vexed she looked up,
                                                    the stars have vanished;
                                                    for her every step,
                                                    through the houses she dashed
slipped and she fell,
she never thought she would;
but that is the life we dwell,
which kills the flower in its bud;
                                                    she looked around,
                                                    whether someone saw;
                                                    but an infant lie around,
                                                    her attention it draw;
she got up surprised,
picked the providence gift;
by its eyes she became mesmerized,
unable to understand the gist;
                                                     I will take your care she thought,
                                                     happy with her found sona;
                                                     smile on her face the girl brought,
                                                     she named her with love
                                                     ..............................Mona!!!
