Dream #1

Dream #1

A Story by Rallaa

I was inside an abandoned gymnasium.
The windows above the bleachers were smashed out and the light of the full moon filled the large room.
Two people were with me. One, a well dressed, rich looking man, the other a boney, bearded man with only rags to wear.
They were locked in a battle.
The well dressed man summoned powerful and menacing creatures while the boney man summoned defenses and strange plates of food meant to entice his opponent to eat.
Their battle came to a stand still, neither side giving in.
I couldn't watch any longer, I was starving and the food looked so good.
I chose a plate of rice stir fry and took a bite.
It was delicious.
As I went to take another bite, a roach crawled out of the food.
I immediately tried to puke the food back up.
I gagged and coughed until a roach flew out.
Then hundreds more began crawling out of my mouth and slowly enveloped my body.
Once I was covered, I suddenly saw a kaleidoscope of color. It was beautiful.
Then roach crawled into view and the disgusting brown mixed with the other beautiful colors until it was an unrecognizable mess.

And then I woke up.

Funny thing is, you could totally make a food themed deck.

About
I don't really consider myself a writer, but I really wish I were. I enjoy short, to the point poems over long, drawn out ones and stories. I'm a sucker for rhymes. more..
