It's Not So Simple

This is my debut writing on writers cafe. I'd like to thank Sleeping Maiden for introducing me to the website and inspiring this poem. <3

It's not an easy task for me,
to spill my thoughts and feelings,
as if they were the ink,
from the pen that is my mind.

I hesitate on every word,
hang on every sentence,
and stop after every line,
"is this what I mean to say?"

It all just feels so fake,
sickness washes over me,
and my stomach turns,
It's not so simple for me.

Those feelings are very relatable to all writers. =) It can be hard to express on paper..but soon enough those words will write on their own and your own self will rise. =)
