The child in the cradle

The child in the cradle

A Poem by J. Marc
"

An epigram by F. Schiller translated by J.M. Rakotolahy

"

The child in the cradle

Fortunate child!

An infinite space is open to you already in the cradle.

Should you become a man,

Then the infinite world will seem narrow to you!

I don't know that the words of F. Schiller could be improved upon. It seems a perfect thought to me.
