Walking on Glass

Walking on Glass

A Poem by Lost

One minute I'm your friend
The other, I'm a stranger

Although we've known each other for so long,
it feels like the ice is getting thinner between us
and i'll be the one who falls

Maybe I'm just over-thinking
Just like I do for everything else
Maybe you weren't giving me cold glares
or ignoring me
maybe you just didn't see me
or were distracted by other things

Perhaps it's a misunderstanding,
But it feels like I'm walking on glass
Glass so delicate that it could break anytime
with the slightest mistake
our friendship could shatter

But what scares me the most,
is that you won't care
