Oh alas! I have just four lines to write,
best if I rhymed, and the message upright.
Let my verse be sung in two breaths,
reading it all in one heart's surge.

Interesting idea, but a bit rough. You rhyme the first two lines, but not the last two which throws off the flow a bit.
