O mine beloved mother!

O mine beloved mother!

A Poem by Raj Sahu
"

An eulogy for my teacher who is my mother!

"

O mine beloved mother! thee canst not ever wend far,
Far to the remotest lodging from my heart,
But if 't be true thee doth, my heart's door is ajar,
Peeping thy sweet memories, gratitude for thy part.

Thou hast loved, cared and adored me,
In the picture of the children, thou hast begotten.
So tender is thy love, so deep I see
In the mouth of doom, which canst not be forgotten.

I joyously sing the praise of thy generous conduct
No such mortal on this earth hast I ever hath met
Angels tooketh era to buildeth such a kind product
Sending thee amongst mortals made their eyes wet.

Thou art the guiding god-mother I believeth,
Day by day, thou brightens my darkened path.
Day by day, my all the sorrows taketh
Thy mellow-mouthed words for a replenish bath.

Eternal beauty liveth in thy eyes,
Ne'er ending affection flows from them.
And thou art my loveliest prize
And I am thy most precious gem.

******

I pray I pray to the ultimate master of all,
To place his divine hand on that lady soul.
I beseech the creator of great and small,
To strengthen that lady to fulfil her role.

I admire you for tackling a long poem using intricate form for rhyme & dialect. Your poem is well-crafted with an "old time" sound . . . something popular to imitate . . . and difficult to get right. I must say that your Shakespearean sound is not always easy to follow & glide across while reading (a little clunky). But we don't get good at new styles if we don't try & this is a great effort for you. I have a bias against elevated language that you use here (your message is strong & well-developed, it's just the sound I don't like much) . . . this stilted language doesn't convey the warmth & affection like writing in a more conversational way (just my opinion!) (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I don't know much about poetry to give you a great response other than I felt this deeply in my soul and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. Beautifully written.

wonderfully written and a great to show your mother the love you have for her. I think we all need to at some point show the real appreciation and love we have for our mothers. Nicely done young sir.

There's so much more what meets the eyes of a newborn seeing an angel that God has put before you to guide you, protect you from all demons and childhood monsters haha, special kind love that nobody can give you except your mother, and most importantly a blessing to have a mother. For me I was raised by my mother and now im older she's fighting for her life right now cause of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Now doing the same what she has done for me throughout my life. I ran into rarity that expresses not only gratitude but a feeling so sacred only you can understand the delicacy, the very core that can apprehend the misery from life sometimes when you feel at the end of the rope. Love the line Thou art the guiding god-mother I believeth,
Day by day, thou brightens my darkened path." Simply beauty how powerful truths can be thrown into anything and win. Keep writing sincerely your friend in poetry and life :)

You are welcome my friend.
The amount of respect, heart and compassion conveyed in this poem is unlike anything I've seen before. Your truly digging deep into the kind of person that you are and how you care for a loved one. That's amazing and even brings a tear to the eye because I can resonate with it. Keep up the good work!
