A writers blockA Poem by daydreameri have been suffering from this for quite a while nowA year passed by Within a flash in the blue sky Dark nights hovered long Daylights weren’t on song Trapped within my body My soul longed for a dab of freedom Long season of distress Couldn’t tab out regrets Trapped is the only word My lips could express My vision was stolen My heart was barren. Miles of pages I scrambled Hoards of characters I explored Hundreds of plots kept me exposed To the desert of dry neurons Mind grappled depression Hands wished for a lexicon Fingers trembled at the outset When thoughts of literature sprung up Like an oasis amidst desert When I browsed shattered memories It’s your love that engulfed all threats. Your faith kept me abreast With a rekindled hope, That Nothing is ever lost Till we say never, not. That will help overpower this BLOCK. © 2013 daydreamer |
