Blind Loyalty and Lost Justice

Blind Loyalty and Lost Justice

A Poem by Mohammad Rajaul Islam
"

Speak out against all wrongs, no matter friend or foe, For only then will justice, and true humanity, grow.

"
How is your humanity, wrapped in gold's embrace,
When you support the attackers, leaving victims in disgrace?
How is your justice, blind to the ally's sin,
When wealth and power guide you, and shadows draw you in?

You raise your voice so loudly, against the stranger's wrong,
But silence fills the chamber when allies sing their song.
Their actions steeped in cruelty, their hearts devoid of care,
Yet you defend their darkness, as if justice isn't there.

Where is your compassion, in the fortress of your wealth?
When cries of pain surround you, do you think of someone else?
The power in your hands, a gift meant to uplift,
But instead, it shields the guilty, and leaves the world adrift.

Your voice could be a beacon, to light the path of right,
Yet it trembles into silence when allies blur the light.
Their actions go unchallenged, their wrongs become your own,
For in the court of justice, their crimes remain unknown.

Oh, the weight of wealth and power, a burden and a gift,
To use it for the voiceless, their spirits you could lift.
But when you turn a blind eye, to those within your fold,
You taint the scales of justice, with deeds both dark and cold.

So question your humanity, and where your loyalties lie,
For true power stands for justice, and hears the victim's cry.
Speak out against all wrongs, no matter friend or foe,
For only then will justice, and true humanity, grow.
