POETRY OF LOVE

Love don’t interest me anymore, seriously not anymore,

The silence of the crowd,

The loudness of darkness,

They all look like shadows that I know no more,

The memories of our dances,

The nights we made love,

Everything looks like a picture,

That’s just a masterpiece lost forever,

Holding of hands to stay together,

Falling sleep just to hug,

Washing away each other’s tears to show we care,

Moments of silence,

When everything was said through eyes,

Words of pain that were shared with smiles,

All is lost to love, 

Trust me love don’t interest me at all.

This is an awesome love poem. You’ve done a great job of writing this in an original & artful way. The title is awesome, the way it sounds so sarcastic in your poem. There’s a flippant “f**k-off” attitude lingering & this makes the sarcasm of your title line really pop. Love - If true should have an everlasting impact on mind, body and soul. Yet when passion goes it loses impact: we start to take each other for granted - we can become just 'friends' or like brother/sister. Look beneath the surface and into the heart of a being and you will discover that somewhere there maybe that spark that can well be ignited. Never let the 'fire' die!
