TIME HAS CHANGED

Time has changed

 

 

Time has moved fast,

It’s ever changing,

Our priorities have changed,

So the persons we need,

Once carried on our parents shoulders,

Today someone is making us walk on our knees.

 

Options were limited once,

It was happy to choose,

Today there is plenty,

But difficult to decide what can satisfy most,

Money once was not a big thing,

Today our smile is elusive as money becomes something.

 

Time has changed for sure,

For good or bad, only it knows,

Values have changed,

So the people,

Cold drink shifted to hard drink,

But people remained unmoved.

 

Freedom has got a new meaning,

That’s no interference,

No matter how wrong you are,

But no one can complain,

Not even with words,

Certainly the time has changed.

Hat's off to this piece buddy!!...am often confused by the changes occurred by time....hardly you can notice a piece that hasn't been touched by time and hasn't changed....this gypsy teaches so many at just a flicker...witness of destruction and the proof of new start.....I loved reading each stanza of this poem...and tis meanings are so profound...thanks for writing this...:)

Time is certainly changing quite fast, especially with the sort of technology we are having today, short span of life is the only reality. Time is an amazing topic to talk about..Thanks for reading it n reviewing it..it made me smile and believe in my work a lot more :)
