Closed eyes

Slowly, slowly drops of rain start touching my feet,

I am all naked; my soul is open, 

As I laid myself in the arms of god,

With my closed eyes I imagined a beautiful world,

Where you holding my hand,

Taking me towards the sea shore.

As the wind begin to blow,

I found myself flying high above the sky,

The world begin to look small, and clouds felt like cloths of god,

Rainbow today looked more colorful;

It got a new color, that’s of my smile.

For the first time I found birds singing with me,

I doubt they will ever understand me,

Stars and moon, both look bright,

May be it’s my charm that’s giving them more shine,

As the night begin to go dark, I came back on the ground,

You were right there, telling everyone how beautiful I am,

You kissed my cheeks, you hugged me tight.

Before I could say anything, 

“You look amazing all time” you told me with a smile,

You took me to the dance floor,

With your every move you got me more close,

Everything was looking so beautiful, 

But don’t know where you disappeared,

Not a word was said, not even a hello.

My body begins to felt cold,

Eyes felt tears that were not there before,

I know I have to open my eyes, but I am all scared,

Drops of rain kept on coming, 

But I remained there, still and cold.

With falling drop I felt a pain, 

Neither of its weight, nor of losing you either,

I felt like a sea, which has so much, 

Yet nothing to call one of its own,

With closed eyes even our pains look beautiful, 

But here I am alone, without you, still and cold.
